Hello! My name is Cheryl Ann Woodruff. I am so excited to be a part of the Fulbright Elementary School Family. And I must say that is does feel like a family where love is shared and everyone has been so helpful!
I come to Fulbright from Texas. I have 15 years experience in Louisiana and 16 years experience in Texas. I am a lifelong educator since I went straight from highschool into college and straight from college into teaching. I have been teaching school since I was 21.
I received my Bachelor's degree from NLU in Monroe, LA.. My first Master's degree is in Elementary Education/ Early Childhood Education and my second Master's degree is in Educational Administration.
I come from a family of five children. And now have 28 nieces and nephews and 35 great nieces and nephews. Family is very important to me. I have one daughter, Charla Victoria who is in her third year of college to become....a teacher! She has three children; Jaidyn is 9, Mia is 6 and Ariana is 22 months. I am a very proud Nanna!
I am excited to be working here with all of you! I believe in keeping a connection from school to home and home to school. When we are all working together we can do what is the very best for our children; that is what this class and school is all about. I have an open door policy and hope you will always feel free to come to me with any questions or concerns.
